Fire Pit Grill

This recipe is easy to make, and here's a pro-tip that we always want you to remember: Use ripe avocados, but...not over-ripe. Here's what we mean. You want to find avocados that are slightly soft, but not too soft. If your avocados are too hard, they taste bland and don't mash properly. If they are too soft, they'll taste old. Gently press each avocado, and if it's just a bit soft, that's what you're looking for.

Here's what you need:

  • 3 avocados, ripe
  • 1/2 small onion (diced to small pieces)
  • 2 tomatoes (Roma are recommended, diced as well)
  • 3 tbsp of chopped cilantro (fresh, not dried)
  • 1 jalapeno (remove seeds and dice finely)
  • 2 cloves of garlic cloves (smashed)
  • 1 lime (juice when ready to add)
  • 1/2 tsp of salt (sea salt preferred)
  • Take 3 avocados and slice them in half. Then, remove their pits and scoop into a bowl. Gently mash the avocados as much as you'd like. If you want chunky guacamole, then mash just a little bit.

Next, add in the tomatoes, onions, jalapeno, lime juice, garlic, onions and salt. Mix everything together and taste. Add extra salt if needed, or add more lime if you want more tang.

There you have it. Enjoy at your next fire pit grill gathering.
